OUR PURPOSE AND MISSION
Compelled by the love and grace of God, we seek to be a growing, compassionate Christian family, dedicated to glorifying Him through prayer, worship, Bible study, service and sharing the Good News of Christ with others.
AN OPEN INVITATION
We invite you to join us for worship, and to share in our purpose and mission as described above. If you are not at this time participating in a local church, it would be our pleasure to include you in the fellowship and ministry of this congregation. Please, come, and join us!
WHAT WE BELIEVE

Our beliefs are basic, centering on the authority of the Bible as God's Word for us and on the authority of Jesus Christ as God's Son who was sent into the world as its Savior and Lord. We are broad enough to include people of many backgrounds and yet narrow enough to hold firmly to the basic truths of the historic Christian faith.
  • The Bible is God's timeless, inerrant truth. We seek to study it, understand it and apply it to our lives.
  • The Holy Trinity is God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • Jesus Christ is God and all which the Bible says about Him is true. He lived a sinless life; He performed miracles; He died for the sins of the world; He rose again from the grave and He will return in glory.
  • Personal salvation comes by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
  • The Holy Spirit gives power and strength to believers to live the Christian faith.
  • There is spiritual unity between all believers in Christ whatever their denominational affiliation or background.
Our Purpose and Mission
COMPELLED BY THE LOVE AND GRACE OF GOD
We are a gathering of people who have experienced the forgiveness and love of God in our own lives, and are therefore compelled to live now for Him rather than for ourselves.
WE SEEK TO BE A GROWING, COMPASSIONATE CHRISTIAN FAMILY
We are striving to develop a caring, friendly, "family" atmosphere, where people can come to find encouragement, support and the love of Christ through the love of His people. Our various fellowship groups, plus many social functions and activities for the church as a whole, help us to develop a sense of community, warmth and willing readiness to care for one another in times of heartache and need. The Christian faith is not meant to be lived in isolation, and so we join with fellow believers to express our love to God.
DEDICATED TO GLORIFYING HIM THROUGH PRAYER
We firmly believe in the power of prayer, and maintain an active prayer ministry within our congregation for this church and our community, through prayer fellowship groups, a prayer chain, and our prayer times in worship.
WORSHIP
We gather on a regular basis to worship God, because He is worthy. Our most important calling is to honor God who created and redeemed us. We seek to worship in a dignified and yet vibrant way, allowing freedom for personal expression and enabling worshipers to experience the healing presence of our Lord.
BIBLE STUDY
Through a complete Church School program, with a nursery for the very young, classes for all ages, as well as occasional weekday study groups, we seek to know God's Word and apply its truths to our lives. We also have a wonderful and growing church library, with reading and reference materials to enable individual study in the comfort of home.
SERVICE
Working together in a variety of ways, we seek to carry on the ministries of this church, serve the needs of our community and reach out to people in the name of Christ. Various opportunities for service enable each individual to contribute in ways they feel called, comfortable and able.
SHARING THE GOOD NEWS OF CHRIST WITH OTHERS
We believe that God's good news of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ is to be shared, and therefore place a high priority on ministries of evangelism and outreach. Our congregation supports a number of mission projects - locally, nationally and worldwide - for the purpose of sharing the Gospel and helping to relieve suffering in Jesus' name.
